My Experience with Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick Lover:Packaging:Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Lipstick comes in a beautiful, long, colour-coded tube with a trắng cap. It is a big tube and the overall unique is really good. Also, the shade name on the bottom makes it easy khổng lồ find a particular shade in the stash. It has a nice, big applicator wand that works perfectly. The sponge has a nice pointed tip which defines the lips well without any struggle.

Shade:This range offers 10 beautiful shades for all skin tones và I picked up the shade ‘Lover’, which is a beautiful, neutral cool-toned mauve colour. It is good for all skin tones. I have tanned skin & it looks very pretty on my complexion as well, but somehow it carries a grey tone which might wash out deeper skin tones. Otherwise, it is a perfect everyday MLBB shade.

I love such mauve shades on my skin tone as they look great with every makeup look. This shade doesn’t contain any shimmer, which are also good. Though I love a little warm shades for my warm skin tone I love this one, too. The shade is super pigmented as well & requires a single stroke for the perfect colour pay off. It evenly occupies my lips & can hide lip pigmentation as well.

Texture & Quality:This lipstick has a medium-thick texture that glides smoothly on the lips without any tugging. It doesn’t create any problem during application & works easily on my lips. It doesn’t feel patchy, but due lớn its thick formula, it feels slightly heavy on my lips. Also, the formula is a little sticky; even after the lipstick dries out completely, it feels sticky.

If I press my lips together it feels quite uncomfortable & sticky but amazingly the sản phẩm doesn’t peel off. Otherwise, it dries out quickly and sets to lớn a nice, velvety-matte finish with a slightly tinted look. It’s not a drying matte lipstick, so it never feels extremely chapped. The formula doesn’t transfer or smudge at all, just like the lipstick claims. It is a 100% smudge proof and waterproof lipstick which stays super long without any mess. Yes, it has a slightly uncomfortable formula but most qualities are amazing of this lipstick. But due khổng lồ its thick texture, it flakes from the inner lip line. I’ve noticed that a single normal layer works better than more layers. If I apply it properly then it performs well.

Staying Power:It stays super long, i.e. Until I remove it. It can survive over 10 hours without any smudging & transferring. It looks perfect throughout the day. It also survives a meal properly và never looks faded. It doesn’t settle into the fine lines either. As I said earlier, it slightly flakes from the inner lip line và sometimes also from the centre by the end of the day. It depends on the timing. Otherwise, it lasts long on me. But reapplication is not an easy procedure with this lipstick.

Also, it is very hard khổng lồ remove. An oil-based remover is necessary khổng lồ take off the colour from the lips. I use my Maybelline clean express total clean remover and it takes a few seconds lớn remove it. But it takes forever khổng lồ clean with a normal wipe.

I mean, these days so many brands are offering great, affordable liquid lipsticks. So, I won’t rate this one very high. I was expecting a perfect matte liquid lipstick.
